Helen Wills Neuroscience Institute

Supervisor: Richard B. Ivry, Ph.D.

Investigated the contribution of the cerebellum to the control of behavior, including motor adaptation, timing, and coordination. Techniques used included functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and human behavioral testing.

2002-2004

Research Assistant, Massachusetts General Hospital

Supervisors: Nikos Makris, MD Ph.D., Larry Seidman, Ph.D, Scott Rauch, MD

Assisted in the analysis of anatomical MR images to evaluate the biological consequences of mental illness, and assisted in the development and validation of an analysis method for the cerebellum.

2001-2002

Research Assistant, Brown University

Supervisor: Fulvio Domini, Ph.D.

Studied visual perception, investigating the interplay between the perception of three-dimensional shapes and object features such as brightness and texture.
